RICHARD Osman shared a “lovely” heartfelt moment with his Pointless co-host Alexander Armstrong on his last day of filming. Richard, 51, announced he would be leaving the BBC quiz show, which he co-hosts with Alexander 52, in April and his last episode aired on Wednesday.
After introducing the episode, Richard launched into a heartfelt tribute. However, he hadn’t yet announced that this would be his last episode of Pointless.
He began the emotional exchange by explaining: “I was just in an interview, and they always ask about Pointless at the end of it.” Richard continued: “They always say, ‘And how’s Pointless?’ and they say, ‘What’s Xander like?’ “And I always say how lovely you are, and it occurred to me, I don’t tell you in person often enough. “So I just want to say how lucky I am to work with you.” “Aw,” Alexander replied appreciatively.
