Golf fans have been left puzzled after Saudi Golf Federation chief Majed Al Sorour claimed that LIV will form its own majors, if its rebel players are banned from the sport's four flagship events.
Since LIV Golf's inception earlier this year, there has been speculation that its players could be banned from the sport's four major championships.
The likes of Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau and Cameron Smith are just a handful of major winners competing on the Saudi-backed circuit, but may never get the opportunity to win another again.
In response to this, the CEO of the Saudi Golf Federation Al Sorour has claimed if this is the case, then the breakaway circuit will form major championships of their own.
