Following the visit, the Prince of Wales made the 100-mile-trip back up to Gloucestershire. Prince Philip has not seen his eldest son since before Christmas due to the ongoing coronavirus restrictions.
The Duke of Edinburgh has been staying with the Queen in their Windsor Castle home since the pandemic started last year. They have both had their coronavirus vaccines, Buckingham Palace recently confirmed.
