Prince Harry has spoken about his late mother, Princess Diana, on what would have been her 59th birthday in a surprise speech.The Duke of Sussex appeared on behalf of himself and his brother Prince William to present The Diana Award, which was awarded virtually this year amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking about the award, Harry revealed how proud he was that it honours his mother’s legacy and that Diana “would have been fighting in your [the award recipients’] corner.” Harry also paid tribute to young people who are tackling racial inequality, saying it gave him the “greatest hope” amid “division, isolation and anger” around the world.
