Tom Brady breaks silence on NFL retirement rumours and "process" he is going through
Tom Brady has finally responded to reports he was ready to hang up his cleats over the weekend.Brady, 44, is one of the most successful NFL players of all time, and he has won seven Super Bowl rings.The most recent of those successes came during the 2020 season, when he lifted the Vince Lombardy with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.Reports started to emerge from the USA on Saturday evening that Brady, whose side were knocked out out of the playoffs, had retired.But Brady has now responded by breaking his silence and responding to the reports he could be out to leave the game.“No, it was a good week for me and I’m still going through the process that I said I was going through,” Brady said on his SiriusXM show Let’s Go.“Sometimes it takes some time to really evaluate how you feel, what you want to do."I think when the time’s right, I’ll be ready to make a decision one way or another just like I said last week.“It’s a good line that I’m responsible for what I say and do, and not responsible for what others say or do.
