Queen Elizabeth had 'no regrets' and kept sense of humour until the end, says clergyman
A clergyman who spent a weekend at Balmoral with the Queen has revealed that just five days before her death she told him she had “no regrets.” The Rt Rev Dr Iain Greenshields, 68, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, stayed with the Queen the weekend before she passed after he had performed a sermon at Braemar and Crathie Parish Church. Greenshields has since revealed that Her Majesty appeared to be in quite good spirits at this time, joking that she would send him to the Tower of London, and telling him about her time at Balmoral as a child.
