Phil Taylor could face 10-time women's world champion as darts comeback continues
darts with a tournament win as he was beaten by David Cameron in the final of the World Seniors Masters at the Lakeside.While the event ended in disappointment for The Power with a 6-3 defeat to the Canadian qualifier, it was an improvement on showing at the World Seniors Championship earlier this year, when he suffered an early exit at the hands of Kevin Painter.Next up for the recently-formed World Seniors circuit is the World Matchplay at the Bonus Arena in Hull from July 1 to 3. The schedule for the tournament has already been unveiled, and Taylor is due to start his campaign against one of the trailblazers of the women’s game, Deta Hedman or Trina Gulliver.Hedman is a former win over the BDO Masters winner and played at the 2021 PDC World Championship, losing 3-1 to Andy Bolton in the first round.
