mum and step-dad have been jailed for life for brutally murdering the five-year-old – despite going to sickening lengths to try and get away with it.Logan was found dead on July 31 last year in the River Ogmore near his home in Bridgend, south Wales with horrific injuries typically found in car crash victims.The child, who suffered 56 external cuts and bruises, and “catastrophic” internal injuries, was discovered by police partially submerged, wearing dinosaur pyjama bottoms and a Spider-Man top. READ MORE: Sick moment Logan Mwangi's killer mum cried crocodile tears as she was grilled by copsToday, after a delay at Cardiff Crown Court, his killers mum Angharad Williamson, 31, and stepdad John Cole, 40, were sentenced to life behind bars.Williamson was handed a minimum sentence of 28 years, while Cole will be jailed for a minimum term of 29 years.A 14-year-old boy was also sentenced to life detention with a minimum of 15 years.He cannot be named at this time for legal reasons.Members of Logan’s family were present in the packed courtroom, presided over by Mrs Justice Jefford DBE.Prosecutor Caroline Rees QC told the court that Logan "would have had an 80% chance of survival" with medical help.Shockingly, she said that the child would have been in so much pain during his attack that he "would have required morphine."She likened the injuries and pain levels to that of a car crash victim or someone who had a fall from a great height.
