Paige Turley has insisted that she and Finley Tapp did not fake their split, in order to appear and reunite on Ex On The Beach.The couple won the 2020 series of Love Island before splitting in 2023. However, they are now both appearing on Celebrity Ex On The Beach, with some viewers speculating that they faked their split so they could appear on the TV show. After reuniting on the show, Finley vowed to win Paige back - although she seemed less sure about this.

Love Island's Paige Turley and Finley Tapp with questions after they failed to post for a few days.Paige's last photo saw her in attendance of the Pride of Manchester Awards as she joined Finley Tapp to celebrate the locals in the area - but after that, on May 11, it's been radio silent.Paige's followers were quick to message the star to question whether she was okay, and after a few days she has now been able to give an update.She wrote: "Had a few messages asking if everything is ok as we have been a little quiet on socials this week..."Just a little update, I had to go in for v minor surgery so I'm currently on bed rest while Finn plays nurse bless him."Paige's snap saw her with an alien filter on as she wrote: "Legit how I felt when I woke up," before adding: "Can you hear that??? Just a tiny violin being played."Paige was also wearing a hospital gown as she stuck her thumb up for the selfie.The starlet is yet to share any other information with her followers - but fans are now aware that she's okay and is recovering well.Her last snaps before the social media blackout saw the blonde bombshell don a stunning gold sheer dress and an incredibly glamorous makeup look.Paige opted for a lavish curl as her long blonde hair fell near to her waist as she joined Finn and many other celebrities to give a special mention to all the local heroes.As the star shared her photos, she wrote: "We had such a lovely night at Pride of Manchester celebrating all the local heroes." Paige and Finn have both been big supporters of local heroes and themselves have done a lot of charity work since they were crowned the winners of Winter Love Island 2020.

The series was announced on 24 July 2019 when it was confirmed that two series would air in 2020, and is also the first winter edition of the series. Unlike the summer edition, the luxury villa is located in Cape Town. This series is also the first to be hosted by Laura Whitmore, having taken over from Caroline Flack. The series is narrated by Iain Stirling.

On 15 February 2020, following the death of former presenter Caroline Flack, the Unseen Bits episode due to air that day was not broadcast; but was made available on the ITV Hub. The regular episode did not air the following day either. The show returned on 17 February with a tribute to Flack. On the same day, ITV2 confirmed that the companion series Love Island: Aftersun which was set to air after that episode's main show would not be broadcast.
