Coronation Street viewers witnessed the return of Linda Hancock in recent scenes.The ex-wife of Owen Armstrong and absent mother of Izzy and Katy Armstrong made her comeback last week to visit her grandson Joseph Brown.When Chesney Brown admitted to her how tough life has been for him recently, Linda agreed to stay and support him.Viewers were left devastated after they discovered that Katy, mother to Chesney's son Joseph, had been killed in a car crash off screen in 2017.The character was played by actress Georgia May Foote from 2010 until 2015.
