Elsa Keslassy International CorrespondentMemento International has boarded “Falcon Lake,” the feature debut of Quebec-born artist and actor Charlotte Le Bon which will world premiere at Cannes’ Directors’ Fortnight. Penned by Le Bon, François Choquet and Karim Boucherka, “Falcon Lake” is adapted from Bastien Vivès’s graphic novel “A Sister.” The story follows Bastien, a 13-year old boy who moves with his family from Paris to a lakeside chalet in Quebec where he bonds in an unexpected way with Chloé, 16.

Daft Punk have released a short video detailing the original storyboards of their ‘Around The World’ music video.The video, which was uploaded onto the now-inactive French electronic duo’s YouTube channel on Thursday (April 14), shows the official storyboards from the 1997 music video, including the layout of the video’s iconic stage design, and the placement and movement of its dancers.Watch the storyboard video below.This marks the first time that the ‘Around The World’ storyboards have been made available to a wide audience for free as it was previously only viewable via the duo’s 1997 DVD, D.A.F.T.Directed by Michel Gondry, the ‘Around The World’ music video features several groups of costumed dancers making their way across a stage set, each bringing a different vibe to Daft Punk’s track. here.On the final day of the exhibition, the artwork will then be sold to the public, with all proceeds going to the Help Refugees charity. The identity of the artist for each individual piece of artwork will be kept a secret until it is purchased on the day.This year’s chosen records for the sleeves include Foo Fighters‘ ‘This Is A Call’, Vampire Weekend‘s ‘Harmony Hall’ and Aretha Franklin‘s ‘One Step Ahead’.Also featured are Bob Dylan‘s ‘Blind Willie McTell’, The Internet‘s ‘Come Over’, Koffee‘s ‘Toast’ and Miles Davis track ‘Miles Runs The Voodoo Down’.The tracks will be adapted into new artwork by a huge list of contributors, including acclaimed film director Michel Gondry, who worked on the recent IDLES video for ‘Model Village’.
