More than 45,200 people have signed an online petition calling for a ‘universal’ weekly State Pension payment of nearly £550 in order to match the current hourly rate of the National Living Wage. Petition creator Michael Thompson also suggests making the option to claim State Pension available to everyone from the age of 60.

READ MORE: New 'bloodthirsty' prison gang 'responsible' for three recent massacres behind barsWhile inside prison, Michael was involved in a number of violent incidents - estimating that he was shot a total of 22 times - but speaking to the Shaun Attwood podcast, he revealed that he had felt most threatened by guards.“For all my talk about being non-violent and deploring violence, I’ve had my share of it… Probably the closest I’ve ever come to death was at the hands of guards,” he began.Michael explained how this event unfolded, when he was working as a clerk while in prison after he had renounced his involvement with the hate group.He claimed that he had witnessed the cover-up of the murder of prisoner Preston Tate by a gang of guards, and had subsequently been targeted for snitching on the group.“So one of the worst beatings that I have ever taken, was when I was scheduled to go out to court and these guards had just been indicted, so they came in and they chained me up,” he explained.“I thought I was going out to court but I wasn’t, so once they got me chained up, they took me into a room and beat me pretty severely to the point where I actually thought I was going to die.“I think the only thing that saved my life, kind of strange, I was choking on my own
