Clairo has shared her cosy new single ‘Sexy to Someone’ and has announced details of her forthcoming album ‘Charm’.The singer-songwriter took to her official Instagram to share the news that her third album ‘Charm’ is set for release on July 12. You can pre-order / pre-save the LP here.She has also released the lead single ‘Sexy to Someone’ as the album’s first taster – a cosy track with lyrics: “Sexy to somebody, it would help me out / Oh, I need a reason to get out of the house / And it’s just a little thing I can’t live without” describing wanting to be wanted by someone.‘Charm’ was co-produced by Clairo and Leon Michels (of The Dap-Kings and El Michels Affair). According to a press release, the album has been described as a “collection of warm, 70’s-inspired grooves that move lithely between jazz, psychedelic folk and soul”.The album was recorded at both Allaire Studios just outside of Woodstock, New York and Diamond Mine Recording in Queens.

Kali Uchis has released the second single from her new album – listen to ‘Moonlight’ below.‘Moonlight’ was produced by Benny Blanco, Cashmere Cat, and Leon Michels (of El Michels Affair) and follows recent track ‘I Wish You Roses’, which was Uchis’ first new music of 2023.The sensual track is an ode to chilling out with a lover, as she seamlessly switches between English and Spanish, singing “I just wanna ride, get high in the moonlight” during the chorus.Uchis’ new album ‘Red Moon In Venus’ will be released on Friday, March 3, via Geffen Records. It’s set to be one of two albums from the singer this year, with both an English and a Spanish album to drop in 2023.“Love is the message,” Uchis said in a statement about the new album. “Red Moon In Venus is a timeless, burning expression of desire, heartbreak, faith, and honesty, reflecting the divine femininity of the moon and Venus.“The moon and Venus work together to make key aspects of love and domestic life work well.

Dan Auerbach‘s band The Arcs have announced their first album in eight years, ‘Electrophonic Chronic’.The Black Keys frontman’s side project released their debut studio record, ‘Yours, Dreamily’, back in 2015. Its 12-track follow-up is due to arrive on January 27, 2023 via Auerbach’s own label Easy Eye Sound (pre-order here).Today (October 13), The Arcs have shared the first preview of the forthcoming project in the form of ‘Keep On Dreamin”, which arrives with an animated official video by Robert “Roboshobo” Schober.‘Electrophonic Chronic’ will also include the cuts ‘Heaven Is A Place’, ‘A Man Will Do Wrong’, ‘Backstage Mess’ and ‘Love Doesn’t Live Here Anymore’.The Arcs’ original line-up – completed by Leon Michels, Nick Movshon, Homer Steinweiss, and the late Richard Swift (who died in 2018, aged 41) – contributed to the new album, per a press release.It was recorded between Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville, Electric Lady in Manhattan, and Michels’ Diamond Mine in Queens, New York.
