Roger Federer was honoured with lifesize chocolate statue that took 250 hours to make
Roger Federer is retiring from tennis as one of the sport's greatest ever players - hence why he was honoured with a lifesize chocolate statue earlier this year.Such a tribute is reserved for only the best of the best, with 20-time Grand Slam winner Federer uniquely being recreated by master chocolatier Jorge Cardoso in February. The statue was said to weigh 100kg and clock in at 1.85m tall - exactly the same height as Federer's 6'1" frame. Cardoso, who also made the infamous bust of Cristiano Ronaldo at Madeira Airport in 2017, spent 250 hours crafting the intricate design.READ MORE: Roger Federer to retire as tennis great thanks fans for 'unbelievable' journey"It will be on public display in our shop on Rue de Lausanne in Freiburg," the sculptor said.
