Hosted by LL Cool J, Nicki Minaj and Jack Harlow, the 38th annual VMAs will begin at 8 p.m. ET at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. The pre-show, hosted by Nessa and Kevan Kenney, with special celebrity correspondent Tate McRae, will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET. Pre-show performers include Dove Cameron, Yung Gravy and Saucy Santana. In addition to airing live on MTV, the in-person ceremony will be simulcast on The CW, BET, BET Her, CMT, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, Pop, TVLand and VH1.

2022 MTV Video Music Awards are this weekend and the list of performers is hard to top!On Thursday, it was announced that Snoop Dogg and Eminem will be performing a live rendition of their latest collaboration — their first in more than 20 years -- «From the D 2 the LBC.» Inspired by the world of the Otherside metaverse, MTV is partnering with Yuga Labs to bring the creative experience to life. The moment will mark the first VMAs performance for either artist in more than a decade. Thania Garcia Bad Bunny will be performing remotely for MTV’s Video Music Awards live from his “World’s Hottest Tour” stop in New York’s Yankee Stadium. Although the VMAs are being held at New Jersey’s Prudential Center, roughly 25 miles (but nightmarish traffic distance) from Yankee Stadium, Bad Bunny will be making an appearance and performing “never-before-seen choreography” through the live broadcast. The Puerto Rican artist made his first VMAs appearance in 2019 alongside J. Balvin for a performance of “Que Pretendes.” The year before that, he scored his first Moon Person in the song of the summer category for his, Cardi B, and J. Balvin’s “I Like It.”

Charli XCX and AJ Tracey have been announced by Reading & Leeds Festival as replacements for Måneskin and Jack Harlow.Earlier this week, the festival organisers released a statement saying they were “saddened” after it emerged that Måneskin and Harlow had pulled out of this year’s festival in order to attend the MTV VMAs.Harlow had been due to perform alongside Arctic Monkeys on Leeds Festival’s final day, with Måneskin appearing before Rage Against The Machine on Reading’s closing day (August 28) – the same day as this year’s VMAs in Newark, New Jersey.“We are working on some exciting replacements to join Arctic Monkeys, Dave, Bring Me The Horizon, The 1975, Halsey, Megan Thee Stallion, D-Block Europe, PinkPantheress, Joy Crookes, Fontaines DC, Bastille, Willow, Wolf Alice, Glass Animals, Hybrid Minds and many others at Reading & Leeds Festivals this August Bank Holiday weekend, watch this space!” R&L organisers said in their statement.The festival organisers have now announced that Charli XCX and AJ Tracey will be the acts replacing Jack Harlow and Måneskin on the line-up.You can see the amended line-up here:6 DAYS TO GO
