Animal lover who jumped into frozen lake to save pooch insists he's 'no hero'

dog lover has insisted he is 'not a hero' after he jumped into a freezing lake and smashed through glass to save a drowning pooch. Darcy Bell, 31, was out running with his neighbour yesterday (Saturday, January 9) when he saw a dog struggling in the icy lake in the park in Pontefract.
