Instagram earlier this week to reveal that he and Francesca had been separated for 18 months but were trying to be "the best parents possible".Ashley reunited with his childhood sweetheart, with the couple having been together for 16 years before calling it quits 18 months ago.However, they didn't let their separation get in the way of them giving their small children Rose, three and Micah, two, the best Christmas Eve.Francesca shared a picture of the family before they went out, with Ashley reposting it before they went to the Father Christmas Experience on Marsh Farm where they met Santa.Sharing to her 110,000 followers on Instagram, Francesca thanked her followers for their "love and support" before wishing them a Merry Christmas.She posted a short clip of her and Ashley flashing a smile to the camera while the dad-of-two held his children in his arms.In another clip shared with her Instagram followers, Francesca compiled various bits of their special family day out.Many social media users took to the comments on her post to compliment the former couple for their amazing "co-parenting" skills.Emilieashley said: "I absolutely love co-parenting you're both doing for your children. I'm totally in awe of me and my ex, we just can't do it."We're continually at loggerheads and it's sad for my two babies.
