Keeley Hawes details what she 'needed to know' from detective her Honour role's based on
Keeley Hawes, 44, has taken on the tough job of playing Caroline Goode, the Detective Chief Inspector in charge of investigating the 2006 honour killing of Banaz Mahmod.The actress met with Caroline before filming to discuss how she found working on the original case, and wanted to know if it was ever possible for a police officer to switch off when working on such a harrowing case.Keeley said: “Detectives on TV are portrayed as being very hard-nosed.“When I met Caroline, I was very keen to know whether that was the case.“I said, ‘You’re in a job 24/7 where you can’t get away from these things, where you’re dealing with domestic abuse. “‘Can you go home and switch off?’ I really needed to know from her, was she emotional, could she set that
