Livingston youngster Carlo Pignatiello reflects on 'pretty special' debut
Sign up to the weekly West Lothian Courier newsletter for the latest West Lothian news and sport.Livingston midfielder Carlo Pignatiello admits his debut for the club was ‘pretty special’ despite missing a late chance to earn his side a draw against Celtic.The 20-year-old, who has had loan spells at BSC Glasgow and Stranraer, was an 88th minute substitute for captain Marvin Bartley at Celtic Park as he made his first appearance for the club.And it could have been a dream debut had he been able to direct his late header beyond Vasilis Barkas.Despite that disappointment, though, the youngster said it was a ‘great experience’.Speaking to the Courier, he said: “It was good to make my debut and obviously I was a wee bit nervous but it was pretty
