Fresh Prince Andrew blow as school to change name associated with Duke of York
Prince Andrew has decided to change its name to distance itself from the Duke of York and his ongoing civil sex case. Head of Prince Andrew High School, Craig Campbell, in Nova Scotia sent an email to families explaining the decision as he said it was "exciting news" for concerned parents. The email explained: "The name of a school should be reflective of our school community and uphold our values as a safe and inclusive learning space for all.“Our hope is to continue to build our identity as a positive, supportive and respectful community, with a name to match.” The school was named in honour of the Queen's son in 1960 after he was born but the name has been a point of concern since 2011 - when Andrew was accused of having sex with an underage girl trafficked by paedophile friend Jeffrey Epstein.
