The research was released by the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) to coincide with Pension Awareness Day on Tuesday, September 15, to help people make the most of their pensions.
Staggeringly, one in 10 Brits (10 per cent) do not intend to plan their retirement finances at all and more than a third (36 per cent) of 50 to 70-year-olds said their finances have been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
