Michael Jordan has broken his silence on the protests going on around the country. The 57-year-old basketball icon shared a message of support to the protestors taking to the streets in response to the death of George Floyd. “I am deeply saddened, truly pained and plain angry,” Michael started. “I see and feel everyone’s pain, outrage and frustration.
I stand with those who are calling out the ingrained racism and violence toward people of color in our country. We have had enough.” Michael then went on to call for “peaceful” protests, while saying we have to “pressure” leaders to make a change. “I don’t the answers, but our collective voices show strength and the inability to be divided by others.
