Maya Jama wows with glam snaps as Love Island fans beg her to host show

Maya Jama is being positioned to replace Laura Whitmore as the new host of Love Island as she stunned fans with glam snaps of herself.

The 28-year-old is reportedly one of the front-runners to replace Laura, 37, on the hit ITV2 dating show, amid reports she could bring a "cooler edge" as the host.

She is expected to be up against This Morning star Vick Hope, 32, the TV and radio presenter, and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant. She has previously fronted Walk the Line and Soccer Aid, and has hosted Glow Up: Britain's Next Make-Up Star. Another contender for the Love Island role is believed to be reigning champion Ekin-Su Culculoglu, 28, who quickly became a firm fan favourite alongside partner Davide Sanclimenti on this year's series.
