Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United are increasingly confident of landing Borussia Dortmund flyer Jadon Sancho in the next available transfer window.
And good pal Marcus Rashford has already had a word with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to talk up the 20-year-old's credentials.
The Irish Independent report the United pair have had a discussion about Sancho, with Rashford labelling him 'decent' and 'dependable'.
And it seems like the Dortmund star is on the same page when it comes to a move to United when the transfer window reopens. The same publication goes on to say that Sancho has 'unofficially confirmed' a return to Manchester with United, three years after leaving the city following his Manchester City departure.
