Mandy Moore has opened up about her fertility struggles, revealing that she was going to undergo surgery for possible endometriosis before she became pregnant.
The A Walk to Remember actress, who is currently expecting her first child with husband Taylor Goldsmith, discussed the uncertainty leading up to her pregnancy in an interview with Romper.
According to Moore, after trying for a baby for a while, she visited a fertility specialist, who told her that she had a problem with her uterus and may have endometriosis.
Following the diagnosis, the 36-year-old said she was “fully prepared” to undergo surgery to treat the issue, recalling that she felt it was “nice to have a plan” and an explanation for why she had not yet gotten pregnant.
