Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gave Bailly and Amad the green light to represent the Ivory Coast at the Olympic games, and if they reach the final of the competition they could potentially be absent from United's entire pre-season schedule before the season starts.
Bailly, 27, is one of three players for the Ivory Coast that are over the age threshold, but Amad, who turned 19 years old just before the tournament, naturally qualifies and the United pair will be attempting to help their nation secure
