mirror.co.ukA barmaid who worked with Christian Brueckner said he once told her that Madeleine was dead, adding: “You can make a body disappear quickly.” Lenta Johlitz, 34, was a close friend of Brueckner when she worked behind the bar with him at his kiosk pub in the north German city of Braunschweig.
She vividly recalls his words after he became very agitated when Madeleine came up in conversation one evening in 2014, seven years after she vanished.
Lenta said: “Once he was completely freaked out when we were sitting in the kiosk with friends and talking about the Maddie case.
