'She had a positive impact on every person's life'... tributes to woman who died in River Mersey
The family of a woman who died after getting into difficulty in the River Mersey in Wirral has paid tribute to her in a heartfelt message - describing the 'positive impact' she made to people's lives.Emergency services were called to King’s Parade in New Brighton, on Monday afternoon after reports a man and woman were in the water.Christine Robinson, 57, from Eastham, Wirral, was later pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics while a man in his 20s, who has not been identified, was taken to hospital.A dog was recovered safely from the water.Merseyside Police said there were no suspicious circumstances.In a tribute issued through police, Christine's family said: “There are no words that can describe the emptiness we are all feeling
