Join thousands of others who have signed up for the Daily Record newsletter.A bid to create wider pedestrian areas in Dumbarton town centre has caused “utter disarray” with drivers ignoring parking bans and barriers tumbled over.West Dunbartonshire Council introduced temporary barriers and suspended on-street parking on the high street ahead of shops reopening to encourage people to keep a two-metre distance.However, as these pictures show, motorists have ignored signs and continued to park up while barriers have been moved onto the pavement, or fallen to the ground, creating an obstacle for shoppers.One Dumbarton resident, who didn’t want to be named, sent these photographs into us.He said: “This is utter disarray of Dumbarton High
