evoke.ieLaura Whitmore was chatting to Ray D’Arcy on RTÉ Radio One on Tuesday morning and she had the host worried he’d accidentally revealed her baby’s gender.
He made reference to her child as her daughter and the host shared how she really felt about the baby’s gender being labelled.
Ray asked Laura if she would encourage her daughter to work in showbiz and Laura’s reply was certainly not what the host expected. ‘I don’t know why so many people are so interested in the gender of a child because this book I wrote before I was even pregnant,’ she said.
Ray then very quickly made sure he hadn’t just made a big flub by checking with Laura that the news was ‘out there isn’t it?’ to which Laura replied: ‘I haven’t said anything.
