Angelique Jackson Pablo Larrain’s “Spencer,” starring Kristen Stewart, is coming to theaters in November. The film, from Neon and Topic Studios, will debut in competition at the Venice Film Festival.Originally expected to debut in 2022 to mark the 25th anniversary of Diana’s death, “Spencer” will debut in theaters on Nov.
5.Stewart stars as the late Princess Diana (born Diana Frances Spencer) in the movie, from a script by Steven Knight, which is an imagining of Diana’s final few days.
The story centers on a weekend in the early 1990s when the late princess was spending the Christmas holiday with the royal family at the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, as the marriage between Charles and Diana crumbled.
