He played one season of college basketball for Texas before being drafted fourth overall by the Cavaliers in the 2011 NBA draft. He also represents Canada in international competition. Thompson won an NBA championship with the Cavaliers in 2016.

She had shared a screenshot of her direct messages, showing one seemingly from Khloe. All that could be seen from the message was: "Listen at this point I really wa..." However, it's now claimed that Kimberly faked the message herself.
A source close to Khloe shared a new screenshot of the messages, appearing to show that the words she claimed were written by Khloe were actually sent to herself.
