Kerry Katona has recalled the tough Christmases she faced as a child and how she ended up eating corned beef in a refuge.The mum-of-five says the experience now means she always goes “above and beyond” for her five kids to make up for the hard festive periods she herself faced as a youngster.

Opening up about spoiling her kids for Christmas, Kerry told OK! magazine: “I always remember being in a refuge with my mum and we’d just got re-homed.
