Chelsea look set to break their club transfer record after reportedly reaching an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen for the sale of Kai Havertz.
Talks between both clubs have been ongoing for weeks as Leverkusen held firm on their valuation of their star man. Original reports suggested Chelsea were hopeful of landing the forward for around £70million but BILD state a total package of £100million has now been agreed.
The structured deal will see Chelsea pay £80m up front with a further £20m dependant on clauses. Some of those clauses are thought to be fairly achievable, such as regularly qualifying for the Champions League and going beyond the group stage.
