Jordan Henderson admitted he was "sweating and nervous" prior to receiving a dressing down from Roy Keane which kick-started his career.
The Liverpool captain played under Keane when breaking through into the Sunderland side as a youngster. Ex-Man Utd captain Keane handed Henderson his debut after being impressed with his form in the reserve team.
Though his call-up did not come before a showdown with his boss at the club's training ground, where Keane launched into a full-scale rant.
