Chelsea legend John Terry believes Jadon Sancho would be a “great addition” to former team-mate Frank Lampard’s side this summer, insisting the Borussia Dortmund ace is one of the best young players in world football.
Lampard was unable to strengthen his squad upon becoming the Blues’ new head coach last summer due to their two-window transfer ban.
And despite that ban being lifted in December, he also failed to get his hands on a number of reported targets in the January window.
Fortunately for the ex-England midfielder, a batch of promising academy graduates - Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount, Fikayo Tomori, Reece James and Billy Gilmour - have stepped up to the plate in the absence of marquee arrivals.
