Jimmy Fallon has apologised after a video clip of him wearing blackface resurfaced. The US chat show host, 45, took to his Twitter page to apologise for the scandal while saying thanks to fans for "holding me accountable".
Jimmy said sorry for the video which saw him wear blackface to impersonate Chris Rock in a Saturday Night Live skit which aired back in 2000.
Taking to Twitter, the host of The Tonight Show tweeted: "In 2000, while on SNL, I made a terrible decision to do an impersonation of Chris Rock while in blackface.
