Manchester United forward Jesse Lingard has opened up on the setbacks he had to overcome to make it at Old Trafford. Lingard says because of his smaller stature, he had to work harder to rise through the youth ranks and eventually establish himself as a first-team player.
The 5ft 7ins forward has also had to contend with injuries, including a lengthy knee lay-off in 2014 - but says the obstacles he has had to hurdle have made him "cherish every moment" at one of the Premier League's biggest clubs.
