Shannen Maria Doherty (born April 12, 1971) is an American actress, producer, and television director. She is known for her roles as Jenny Wilder in Little House on the Prairie (1982-1983), Maggie Malene in Girls Just Want to Have Fun (1985), Kris Witherspoon in Our House (1986-1988), Heather Duke in Heathers (1988), Brenda Walsh in Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990–1994), Prue Halliwell in Charmed (1998–2001), and BH90210 (2019).

In 2020, the 90210 star’s cancer returned with her saying at the time she was ‘petrified’. Sharing two candid pictures on Instagram on Thursday night, Shannen explained that she wants to help educate people during breast cancer awareness month.
The actress also told fans that she hopes ‘we all find humour in the impossible’, sharing her own fun way of keeping her spirits up during treatment.
