Thomas Jeffrey Hanks (born July 9, 1956) is an American actor and filmmaker. He had met the Hollywood film star when he was a fledgling presenter on T4 and Tom was promoting his film The Polar Express. "He was amazing, he was just the nicest fella," said Vernon."I interviewed him for The Polar Express but he was so nice and at the end I said I know this is really unprofessional, is there any chance you can sign this DVD cover of Forrest Gump for me.
