The presenter has had a lot of viewers swooning over him since the series started, but many have picked up on his regular name-dropping.In Wednesday's show, Vernon revealed to Giovanna that his favourite celebrity was Tom Hanks.

He had met the Hollywood film star when he was a fledgling presenter on T4 and Tom was promoting his film The Polar Express.
