Peter Andre (born 27 February 1973) is an English-born Cypriot-Australian singer, songwriter, businessman, and television personality. He gained popularity as a singer, best known for his singles "Mysterious Girl" and "Flava".
He is also known for appearing on the third series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, and the thirteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, in which he was partnered with Janette Manrara.
Peter Andre has revealed that he begged the Australian embassy to allow him to fly back to his homeland. The former pop star, 47, is beyond desperate to hug his dear mum and dad Thea and Savvas who are both in their mid-eighties.
The Mysterious Girl singer's parents have been unable to travel from Australia due to the fact the government has enforced a strict ban on most international travel.
So, in a final attempt to reunite with his dear folks, Peter took it upon himself to contact the Australian embassy in the hopes that they would let him fly to see his mum Thea, who currently ‘is not very well’.
Opening up about his heartache in his latest column for new! Magazine, Peter insisted that his parents were his ‘main priority’ this year.
