A marathon runner who appeared on This Morning on Wednesday has raised over £156,000 in support of his wife who suffers from a rare illness.
Scott Fisher from Kent went on the ITV show to raise awareness of the condition his partner is suffering from and charity Mast Cell Action, that is working to fight against the disease.
During his appearance, Scott revealed to hosts Rochelle Humes and Vernon Kay that he is running 27 marathons in 27 days in honour of his wife who has Mast Cell Activation Syndrome and has to take 27 pills day to combat the condition.
Viewers were left more than ready to donate after hearing the runner's story, surpassing Scott’s initial target of £27,000 a mere couple of hours later – which he was shocked to hear as.
