But Jessica Plummer, who plays the role of Chantelle, has spoken out and admitted she actually has sympathy for her nasty onscreen husband.The 27-year-old actress will sadly be killed off next week when Gray discovers she is planning to flee to a women's refuge.EastEnders bosses and the cast have worked closely with relevant charities to ensure the storyline is handled sensitively and properly.Speaking about the sad situation to Mirror, Jessica said: "As much as Gray is an abuser, when I watch it back there's some part of me that feels as bit sorry for him because I realise that he witnessed.
