Dan Walker answered questions from fans yesterday on his Instagram page, where one asked if he'd "play the press card or join the queue" to see the Queen lying in state.

In response, the 45-year-old presenter said: "The whole point is that it's a shared event.The wait, the slow walk, the memories are all a part of it."Despite Phil and Holly being allowed to skip the queue for work purposes, social media users were quick to slam the pair.
