The pair ended up not seeing each other in person for nine months, but they were able to maintain their long-distance relationship despite it being ‘definitely hard’ at times.
Courteney spoke about her relationship with the Irish musician during an appearance on Sirius XM’s The Howard Stern Show with her former Friends costars Lisa Kudrow and Jennifer Aniston.
