Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Celtic. Reports had claimed Petrescu had thrown their hats into the ring to be appointed as Neil Lennon's replacement after leaving Kayserispor for unspecified personal reasons.

The former Chelsea star masterminded CFR Cluj's win in the Champions League qualifiers last season and has previously stated he is taking a break from management until the summer after leaving Turkey.

However, it doesn't appear he will be destined for the Premiership in his next move after opening up on his dream return to Romanian title picture.

Having lifted the title in his homeland with Cluj and Unirea Urziceni, he told ProSport that he wants to lift the Liga 1 title with a record-breaking third club.Petrescu said: "I have to satisfy my "hunger" somehow.
