But things quickly got a bit heated when the topic of Christmas presents came up and Nina and Charlie asked viewers to share their disappointing Christmas gifts.
The BBC journalist also decided to get Carol, involved in the discussion and asked her if she had received any Christmas presents that she didn't like this year.
She asked: "Did you get some good Christmas presents this year?" Carol replied: "Yes!"
