Cosby Show star, 83, has been in prison since 2018 on charges of aggravated indecent assault over a 2004 encounter with Andrea Constand, who he was convicted of drugging and molesting.
However, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court threw out his conviction on Wednesday, finding an agreement with a previous prosecutor prevented him from being charged in the case.
The court ruled that invalid testimony from other women who accused Cosby of assault had tainted the trial, overturning a finding from a lower appeals court.
