Ant and Dec return to Britain’s Got Talent with a bang performing huge musical number to open the show

ANT McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will go back to their musical roots as they host the first ever virtual semi final of Britain's Got Talent tonight.

The Geordie pair, who found fame as duo PJ and Duncan, released their first single Tonight I'm Free in 1993. And 17 years later, they will take to the stage to hold a tune for BGT 2020's new-look show.

Dec, 44, opens the show by telling Ant, also 44: "It's been a strange few months, hasn't it?" He added: "Shall we bring it all back?

to which Ant replies: "I thought you'd never ask - lets do it!" Teaser images for this evening's show the BFF's donning smart suits and clutching microphones as they belt out a jazz-style track for the ITV show's introduction.
