Nick Cordero is pushing through his recovery from COVID-19 after suffering a setback earlier this week. On Wednesday, in an update to her Instagram Stories, Nick’s wife Amanda Kloots tearfully told fans that her husband’s condition had been “going downhill” and asked for “mega prayers right now,”after the actor and singer suffered a setback in his coronavirus recovery.

Nick Cordero has been fighting Coronavirus in the ICU for nearly two months now. The actor was initially diagnosed with pneumonia until his third test for COVID-19 came back positive. The Broadway actor has had to get his right leg amputated due to Coronavirus complications. After being on the ventilator for two months, Nick finally seems to be responding better to the new treatment being given to him and its a sigh of relief for his wife, Amanda Kloots.

Nick Cordero’s showing signs of improvement again. On Tuesday, his wife Amanda Kloots shared his doctors were showing “some success” after his being placed in a prone position, which means he lays on his stomach for a certain period of time to help with breathing. “They are seeing some improvements with his oxygen and gas exchange rates when they do that, so that was really good and promising,” she said. The mom-of-one also revealed that the Broadway star has been given new antibiotics and ”a high dose of vitamin C to start to work on his immune system. All these little things seem to be slowly helping and we‘re just keeping our fingers crossed that these things will continue to see some improvements.”

Things are continuing to move in a positive direction for Nick Cordero. The 41-year-old Broadway star has been fighting the coronavirus in the ICU for nearly two months, and his wife, Amanda Kloots, revealed on Tuesday that doctors have seen «some success» with proning, or repositioning, him.
